With the intensification of the global environment and climate change, land use change to speed up the process, also will continue in-depth study of land use change. In order to quantitatively analyze the distribution of land use types in Shaanxi Province, mutual transformation of relations and types of land between the use of intensity and severity, Based on Geo-information atlas theoretical method statement Peng Yuanshi proposed the use of GIS technology, Shaanxi Province 15 years (1990-2005) land use data 4 (1990,1995,2000,2005) conducted a spatial analysis, statistics, information extraction and a series of data processing and other changes in land use transfer matrix synthesized a series of three sequential elements of land use change maps, analyzes the different timing of land use distribution unit, change type, as well as the flow area of spatial expansion strength, to further explore the dynamic changes of land use spatial pattern of Shaanxi Province. We get the following conclusions:(1) land use types grassland, farmland, woodland, extensive grassland, arable land concentratedGrassland, arable land, forest area accounted for three of more than 93%of the total area of Shaanxi province, most grassland, accounting for more than 37%of the total area of Shaanxi Province, is widely distributed in the entire gamut province; about 34%of arable land, the main distribution in the Guanzhong Plain, Yulin and Hanzhong Basin region; minimum waters, an area of about 1,800 km2, accounting for only 0.88%.(2) the grass-unused land, unused land-grassland, arable land-the largest area of grassland changeOverall reduction of arable land, a net reduction of area of 1,100 km2, the main flow of the grassland; forest area continued modest growth, the average annual increase of more than 100 km2, the main source of growth is grass; grassland overall reduction in the total reduction of 1,900 km2 the main destination is unused land and arable land; little change in water area; overall urban and rural, industrial, residential land increased, mainly from arable land; unused land tends to increase, the main source of grass. Three timing unit share of land use change are the biggest changes in the type of grass-unused land, unused land-grassland, farmland-grassland, accounting for 24.46%of the current changes in the type of share, respectively, 44.81%,31.18%.(3) arable land, grassland shrink, urban, industrial, residential land expansion, forest land, unused land is relatively stableThree time-series unit,2000--2005 land use change in the type of major changes in the change region accounted for 19.29%of the study area, the other two smaller units timing changes. From the point of view spatial expansion level, arable land is shrinking faster type; land is relatively stable; the grass in 1995--2000 years rapid contraction type, the other two timing unit to a slower contraction type; water is slowly dilated, change small in size; urban and rural, industrial, residential land in 1990--1995 years dilated slowly, since 1995 to a faster dilated; not use the relative stable. Proven, expand the area of flow division and type of land use intensity types of analysis results coincide.Based on land use vector data from the space distribution of land use dynamic changes and spatial expansion of three aspects were analyzed in a more intuitive, efficient results and charts map the outcomes of land use spatial pattern change in Shaanxi Province were studied, drawn the results are more consistent with the actual situation. In order to accurately grasp the land administration and land use changes and scientific and rational development and utilization of land resources to provide references.
