Land use change and its driving force is the hot issue of global change research.Nanliujiang is the largest river into the sea of Guangxi, whose basin with mountain, river, lake, reservoir, sea and other natural geographical elements, this typical watershed is oneof the regions of Guangxi socio-economic development of relatively fast,AdministrativeRegion of the range including Xingye County,Beiliu,Yulin City,Luchuan County,BobaiCounty,Pubei County,Lingshan County,Qinzhou City,Hepu County in some areas.From1990to2010,the land use of basin changed significant with rapid urbanizationand economic development, land use issues result ecological damage, the obviouscontradiction between people and land and other issues will be restricted the basin’ssustainable development of the social and economic, study land use change in the numberof structural features and the driving force, help to optimize the pattern of land use, improveand protect the ecological environment, water quality,it’s great significance to coordinateddevelopment of the population-resources-environment of basin and Guangxi Beibu GulfEconomic Zone.In this paper, using the TM/ETM+images of1990,2000and2010,based on the RSand GIS technology’s support, useing the Tupu and number of statistical analysis methods, analysis the land use change in the number of structural features, the transformationrelationship between land use types of the basin from1990to2010,use the gray correlationmethod to analyze the effect of socio-economic driving factors of land use change. Theresults show that:This basin major land covers are fores land and cultivated land, both accounting formore than80%of the total area of the basin, and gradually decreased. Construction landincreasing trend from1990to2000,an average annual growth rate of5.48%,from2000to2010the average annual growth rate of6.68%,from1990to2010the area of constructionland increase687.75km2. Cultivated land, garden, fores land area has reduced, the reduction rate of annual maximum was garden, reduce rate about1%;largest reduction was cultivatedland, during the study decrease320.42km2. The water land showed growth in1990to2000and decreasing from2000to2010. The period of study,Nanliujiang basin’s land use changesignificantly,from2000to2010compared with1990to2000,amplitude,or an averageannual rate of change of intensity of change is more obvious, land use balanced degreesComposite Index gradually improved.Land use change geo-info Tupu show that from1990to2010,the spatial and temporalevolution of the characteristics of watershed land use Nanliu complex. Each land use typetransformation between, mainly cultivated land, forest land into construction land;thegarden transferred to cultivated land, construction land. From1990to2000,the transfer ofland-use map of the Chinese Communists to generate25types of map unit,in accordancewith the transfer map unit transfer area and the percentage of transfer size sequence:cultivated land to construction land, garden to arable land, forest land to cultivated land, cultivated land, cultivated land to forest land, waters to cultivated land, cultivated land towater, forest land to construction land,85.54%of the above eight kinds of map units of thetotal transfer map unit;2000to2010land transfer map, cultivated land to construction land, garden to cultivated land, forest land to cultivated land, cultivated land to garden, cultivatedland to forest land, forest land to construction land, garden to construction land, cultivatedland to waters above the map unit cell84.92%of the total transfer map.According to the grey correlation Analysis, period of1990to2010,the totalpopulation, population of agricultural, developed area, length of highways, yield of grain, number of employed persons in units, total agricultural machinery power, total aquaticproducts, are the major socio-economic driving factors of the basin’s land use chang.
