Research On Ecological Tourism Governance In ABA Prefecture

This essay focused on ecological tourism governance in Aba prefecture, mainly from the perspective of governance to the relationship and conflict among study tourists, tourism enterprises, tourism scenic area agencies, government departments and other relevant stakeholders in the special field of ecological tourism development. Being a new things, ecological tourism only had decades of history throughout the world, and definitely is now in its infancy in Aba prefecture. Under the era background of developing ecotourism, based on the thorough study of ecological tourism development and governance at home and abroad, combined with the practical situation and tourism resources, this essay started from the perspective of governance, discussed the main problems existing in the tourism development, objectively combed the favorable conditions of developing ecological tourism, restriction factors, development opportunities and real challenges in Aba prefecture. Meanwhile, this essay used sustainable development theory, stakeholder theory, new Public Administration Theory as the instruction, put forward scientific, reasonable, countermeasures and suggestions ecological tourism development in Aba prefecture.The full text had six chapters. The first chapter put forward the research background and significance, literature and date review, as well as research ideas and methods. The second chapter put forward relevant theoretical basis, including the understanding of the relevant concepts, the relationship between ecological tourism development and governance. The third chapter analyzed the ecological tourism resources and geographic environment characteristics and the present ecological tourism development situation in Aba prefecture. The fourth chapter analyzed the main governance problems and the reasons in ecological tourism development in Aba prefecture. The fifth chapter put forward some countermeasures to complete and perfect the ecotourism governance in Aba prefecture. The sixth chapter was conclusion and prospect. It was found that problems existing in the ecological tourism development and governance in Aba prefecture included:conflict between tourism development and tourism ecological; conflict between tourism scenic area agencies and local residents; the service management in scenic spots was not perfect; the service and management level needed improving; the tourism market required regulation; the professional team construction should be strengthened; there were gap between service level, service consciousness and tourists growing demand; the soft power of tourism also should be ascended; the infrastructure and facilities could not fully meet the needs of the rapid growth of drive and self-help travel, etc. Aimed at the existing problems, this essay put forward concrete countermeasures on improving, which included:configure resources like scenic spots, tourism source sites and tourist service area through scientific and rational planning; control tourist capacity and scale in accordance with environmental capacity of tourism landscapes; establish government-leaded management and incentive mechanism; share responsibility and benefits among the stakeholders in tourism development reasonably; emphasis the management and training of tourism industry professional teams; as well as educate the tourists on environmental ethics to guide civilized travel behaviors. The problems found in ecological tourism development and governance in Aba prefecture has universality in China’s ecological tourism, hence, the governance countermeasure put forwarded by this essay can help straighten out ideas, improve efficiencies in ecological tourism development and governance in Aba prefecture. On the other hand, it can also play a guiding role and be certain reference in the ecological tourism development and governance in similar area in China.
