Chinese traditional culture and social public opinion require that women must take the role of both work and family and be successful in both career and home. With the social pace speeding up and competition intensifying, female senior managers have to cope with the high intensity work tasks and pressure at workplace. In the family they have to face various problems of life. So they are difficult to balance work and family roles. With the development of positive organizational behavior, scholars have turned their attention from negative behavior to the positive state of people. On the one hand, job engagement, which is used to describe the positive side of individual working state, began to get the attention of people. On the other hand, the research emphasis in the field of work-family passed from conflict to facilitation. This article focuses on female senior managers, exploring the relationship between job engagement and work-family facilitation, which broaden the research horizons of work-family field, enrich empirical study of job engagement, also encourage enterprises and employees to pay attention to the relationship of work and family, improve the effective resistance of management, and promote enterprise long-term development.This article mainly includes the following contents: first, job engagement, recovery experiences and work-family facilitation were consolidated in the article, together with the definitions, measuring method and mechanism of action for each and accordingly propose research hypotheses and theoretical model. Second, effective data related with job engagement, recovery experiences and work-family facilitation coming from questionnaire helped scientific analysis of the proposed hypotheses to explore the relationship between job engagement, recovery experiences and work-family facilitation. Thirdly, the combination of the resulting conclusions presented advice for enterprises, family and female senior managers, also describing the deficiency of research, and putting forward the prospect.Conclusions of this study are as follows: first, job engagement, recovery experiences and work-family facilitation differ in demographic variables. Second, job engagement has a significant impact on work-family facilitation. Vigor, dedication and absorption, the dimensions of job engagement, also have a significant impact to work-family facilitation. Thirdly, recovery experiences moderates the relationships between job engagement and work-family facilitation. Psychological detachment, relaxation, mastery experiences and control during leisure time, the dimensions of recovery experiences, also moderate the relationships between job engagement and work-family facilitation.This article is innovative in the following aspects: first, select the female senior managers as the research object, which makes up the blank of this group in the research between job engagement and work-family facilitation. Second, the model of job engagement, recovery experiences and work-family facilitation was established, which enriches the result variable of job engagement and empirical study of recovery experiences. Thirdly, the recovery experiences scale was effectively verified under the Chinese cultural context, which enriches the application scope and also expands the applicability of the recovery experiences scale.
