Research On Traffic System Between Urban And Rural In Sichuan Province

The Third Plenary Session of the eighteenth Central Committee of has made a decision that the urban-rural dual structure has to be broken to promote the integration of urban and rural development. And as the foundation element of transfer, the transportation system is an important link between urban and rural areas, thus becoming the most important thing in promoting the development of urban and rural. In this context, it’s important to have a research about transportation system interconnection.In this article, I take Sichuan Province as an example analyzed how to build urban and rural integrated transport system from both theoretical and empirical aspects. First, in theory, I discussed the concept and features about the transport system between urban and rural areas, and figure that the the most important part is the highway traffic. Second, in empirical terms, I give a simple evaluation about the degree of traffic integration in Sichuan province from accessibility, network structure and transport services. Base that I analyze the problems and why these problems happened.Finally, based on the previous text, I put forward some suggestions about how to build the traffic system.The significance of this topic is:by taking a research about Urban and rural transportation system in Sichuan, it can be easier to promote transportation infrastructure of Sichuan, and labor force and capital can circulate smoothly between rural and urban, and speed up the construction of a healthy relationship between rural and urban. I hope that this article can provide a demonstration for others.
