A Study On The Mutton Sheep Production Cost-benefit In Youyu County, Shanxi Province

In recent years, Youyu County, Shanxi Province, has vigorously developed the animal husbandry and the mutton sheep industry as one of the main force, which is playing a leading role. The mutton sheep industry has become the main way to increase the income of farmers and herdsmen in Youyu. At present, the mutton sheep industry in Youyu County is gradually turning to the scientific, scale, industrialization production road. But there are still a lot of problems that need to be solved in the process of development. So how to solve the problems, improve the benefit in mutton sheep industry and increase the income of the farmers and herdsmen has important research significance.This paper has analyzed the cost and benefit of the mutton sheep production in Youyu County based on the survey data by using the multiple linear regression analysis method and the cost-benefit analysis method. Through the investigation, the paper found that there are problems of high cost, low benefit and low profit in Youyu’s mutton sheep production and drew some conclusions. Finally, according to the cost-benefit analysis and the path to improve the mutton sheep production benefit, this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions from six aspects, which are strengthening the construction of mutton sheep production technical system to promote quality and increase the number scientifically; multiple channels to enhance product value and maintain price stability of mutton sheep; Integrating resource of agricultural production, strengthening personnel training and reducing the cost of production; accelerating the process of large-scale development to change the traditional mode of production; integrating resources vigorously to promote industrial management; improving the policy support mechanism and increasing the industry support.
