The large income gap is one of the outstanding problems in our country’s economic life. In the academic circles, scholars try to explain the reason of the income gap from different lever and different angles. The intergenerational mobility of income analyzes the large income gap from the microscopic point of view. The openness of different regions has a great impact on the intergenerational mobility of income. The study of regional openness in different region is of great significance to promote the income flow and reduce the income gap.Based on the Becker model of human capital, this paper analyzes the effect of openness on intergenerational mobility through the introduction of open variables. Based on the theoretical derivation, three research hypotheses are proposed in this paper:(1)There is a positive correlation between urbanization and intergenerational income mobility, and the urbanization may promote intergenerational mobility.(2) There is a positive correlation between industrialization and intergenerational income mobility, and the industrialization may promote intergenerational mobility.(3) The degree of marketization is positively related to the intergenerational mobility of income, and promotes the mobility between generations.Based on the study of GDP growth rate and per capita GDP in the provinces of Jiangsu, Liaoning, Shandong, and Guangxi, we use the data of 2000, 2004, 2006, and 2009,which provided by China Health and Nutrition Survey, to estimate the each province’s intergenerational elasticity coefficient, and four provinces’ coefficient of elasticity.According to the data from 2005 to 2013, provided by the China Statistical Yearbook, we choose the urbanization rate, industrialization rate, the degree of market three indicators, using principal component analysis method, to calculate the influence caused by the different indicators of regional opening degree. On the basis of the above analysis, using the data of 2011, provided by China Health and Nutrition Survey, and also with the help of the "opening of intergenerational income mobility model, to analyze the change of intergenerational income mobility, which caused by different regional opening degree index. At last, on the basis of the above analysis, and combined with different provinces regional opening differences, we put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.According to the research, this paper draws the following conclusions:(1) The intergenerational mobility four provinces are different. According to the intergenerational elasticity coefficient, we can know the order of income mobility:Liaoning, Shandong, Jiangsu, and Guangxi.(2) Four provinces have some uneven distribution of wealth. According to the four provinces intergenerational income elasticity, four provinces’ intergenerational elasticity coefficient is larger, and the situation in a region with a small mobility and a large area of mobility.(3) In the regional opening of the four provinces, urbanization rate in Liaoning Province and Guangxi province accounted for a larger proportion; the industrialization rate of Shandong Province and Jiangsu Province take greater weight; the degree of marketization, in Shandong Province, is significantly smaller.(4) The opening of intergenerational income mobility model shows that the urbanization has a significant impact on intergenerational mobility, while the influence of industrialization is small.(5) Related countermeasure suggestion of the four provinces:collaborative development is more conducive to the transmission of income mobility in Jiangsu Province; it is the solid industrial foundation, the stable income level, and the active urbanization that could improve the income mobility of Liaoning Province; For Shandong Province, it is useful to continue to promote market-oriented reform, expand the degree of the market, and strengthen the capital flow with other areas; For Guangxi Province, through develop the industry, make full use of geographical advantages, and strengthen the flow of external resources with other areas, it is key to stimulate the vitality of the city.
