With the frequently use of the Internet, Electronic commerce (E-C) has gradually penetrated into every aspects of industry including agriculture, transportation, etc..Meanwhile, in the face of channel diversion pressure brought by E-C, most traditional retail companies have begun to develop E-C channel, but so far the successful cases rarely. So, it is necessary and important to do a research on E-C risk management for traditional retail company. It is helpful to enhance company’s risk management and has some practical meanings.This thesis identifies the risk factors that traditional retail companies are facing to develop the Omni-Channel E-C. With the fully understanding of characteristics of the Omni-Channel E-C. this thesis aims to find out the risks that traditional companies are facing to develop the Omni-Channel E-C. Based on that, this thesis helps retail companies to prevent risks in advance and control risks effectively.This thesis focuses on following parts:(1) Based on the study of historical references, find out the unsolved problems.(2) Identify the risk factors that traditional retail companies are facing to develop the Omni-Channel E-C. Build the risk evaluate index system, which includes 5 first level indicators and 19 second level indicators, by using the method of literature collection, questionnaires, and expert interviews.(3) Adopt questionnaire survey and AHP method to determine the index value and weight.(4) With the case study of Sunning ltd., analyze the E-C risks from 2010 to 2014, verify the risk evaluate index system, and give suggestions on high risk control.The risk evaluate index system can be used to evaluate the risk degrees for traditional retail company to develop the Omni-Channel E-C. Also, it can be used as a reference for other similar risk management.
