Research On Mao Zedong’s Thoughts Of Agricultural Cooperation

In the socialist transition period, our country has started the new journey through the Mao Zedong’s agricultural cooperative transformation of agriculture. Because of the cooperation reformation, country’s productivity of agriculture has been improved very quickly, and the goal of the socialist transition period has been achieved.Agricultural cooperation was put forward by Comrade Mao Zedong in reference to Marxism- Leninism on the foundation of agricultural cooperative system thought and the practical experience of the Soviet Union in twenties or thirties years of the twentieth century, and combining with our country’s socialistic interim poverty and backwardness from the year 1953 to 1956. To sum up the law of China’s economic development and the national conditions of China at that time, the road of agricultural transformation is very appropriate. This road is the inheritance and development of Marx and Lenin’s thought on cooperative system, which are the basic principles and theoretical basis of socialist transformation in our country.This road not only improves the productivity of our country, but also contributes to the stability of the countryside. In the socialist transition period, Mao Zedong’s thoughts of agricultural cooperation are very rich. Although China has made great changes in the late 60 years, the deep study and careful analysis of Mao Zedong’s thoughts of agricultural cooperation still has great significance to help our improvement of today’s agriculture.This article is mainly based on lots of historic data, and combines with China’s concrete practice in the transition period of the socialist system, expounding Mao Zedong’s thoughts of agricultural cooperation systematically during that period. This paper elaborates the origin of Mao Zedong’s Thoughts of agricultural cooperation, studies the previous theory and practice on agricultural co-operation in-depth, analyses the core content and framework of Mao’s thought of agricultural cooperation with the angle of philosophy, and discusses comprehensively the limitations of Mao Zedong’s thoughts of agricultural cooperation and it’s reasons and influence, as well as the great significance of the thought under new stage of rural reform in our country.
