Executives are the main part of company management, and ar e the soul of the company management as well. Bes ides, they play signif icant roles in the proc ess of enterpr is e survival and development, have already become the guarantee for enterpr is es to gain long-term competitive advantages. Accompanied by the gr adual formation of a new type of enter p r ise management system in China, the issue about salary of state-owned enterpr is es executives at the time has become a hot topic in management and economics studies. Under the impetus of the state-owned enterpr ises r eform, the power s ector closely r elated to national economy and people’s livelihood, as the typical state-owned enterpr is e, has become a subject of widespr ead concern and heated discussion. Consequently, the issue of the s alar y refor m is undoubtedly urgent. A deep and detailed study on the salary issue of the current state-owned power company executives, through the strict and standard s alar y system, will help to live up to the purpos es of adjusting income, r ealizing social fair ness, deepening the state-owned enterpr ises r eform, improving the enter pr ise s ystem, promoting the state-owned power companies oper ating performance and ensur ing the preser ved or increase value of state-owned assets. The study not only helps to perf ect the theoretic al bas is of the payment issue and pr ovide a new method and a new idea f or improving cor porate governance, but also to push forward the implementation of the compens ation refor m on heads of these enterpr ises. The good results will be narrow ing the income gap, improving the national income distr ibution system, making contr ibutions to building a harmonious society, offer ing compar isons and refer ences to other state- owned companies and listed companies. This study is f inished through the perfect integration of know ledge from books and exper ience.Bas ed on the introduct ion and generalization of related refer ences, this paper absorbs excellent r esearch conclus ions. In cons ider ation of the current backgr ound of the ref orm in the compens ation system of the main heads, the paper sets the salar y of the lis ted stated-owned electr ic company executives as the research object, selects 56 listed state-owned power companies in 2015. What’s more, in combination with the specific situation of the domestic state-owned power companies, the paper gives the r elated inf luenc e factors analys is and gets all sorts of indic ator var iables, has carr ied out the correlation and multiple linear regress ion analys is with the help of SPSS software, as well as conf irmed the incidenc e on executive compensation thr ough relevant studies. Meanwhile, this paper has discussions on the compensation development s ituation and existing problems, and put forward the corr esponding countermeasures and suggestions.
