If a nation totally rejects foreign culture, it will inevitably fall behind; But if a nation forget their own culture, it will inevitably demise. With the rapid development of China’s financial industry in Ming and Qing dynasties, chinese traditional financial culture gradually born, business ethics of honesty, faith, righteousness and benefit, advanced system of draft anti-counterfeiting and testkey,unique personal shares system,chairman and managers cooperation system, etc, they all reflect the content of chinese traditional financial culture. But after the Opium War, in the role of national inferiority complex, China’s financial sector started out to learn from the foreign financial culture vigorously, China’s financial industry has been learning European and American as so far, although it promoted the development of China’s financial industry to some extent, but at the same time we have gradually ignored the value of chinese traditional culture of financial. And from a practical point of view, after the 2008 financial crisis, western financial culture of Emphasizes egoism, liberal is also criticized, today China’s financial sector all types of risk events, corruption cases are also endless. In view of this, some people think we should not neglect the traditional chinese financial culture, and should inheritance and development of chinese traditional culture of financial, this article is to focus on this point,then analysis traditional chinese financial culture.First This paper introduces contents of the chinese traditional financial culture, and believes chinese traditional Confucian culture by the founder of Confucianism had a great impact on traditional chinese financial culture, its main contents include the integrity of justice and benefit of business ethics, strict prudent management of the road, people-oriented business philosophy, not stick to the traditional spirit of innovation, and execution of dual thinking, broad-compatible development of the internal forces, so it has high significance and value. Second, from a historical perspective, the paper combed three high tides that China’s financial sector started out to learn from western financial culture on the late Qing and early Republic, i.e. China, learn from Soviet financial culture after the founding of New China, learn from European and American financial culture after Reform and Opening, it explains why valuable traditional chinese financial culture is ignored in the contemporary society, at the same time it shows that we learn from contemporary western culture there is a departure from the financial Adam Smith’s "Theory of Moral Sentiments" and "The Wealth of Nations",and only paid attention to the pursuit of material wealth, not pay attention to the problem of moral restraint, and it also had some adverse effects on China’s financial industry, so it should cause us to ponder. Finally, on the basis of the above analysis, it think cultural heritage of chinese traditional financial conducives to building a financial culture with chinese characteristics, make up western financial culture deficiencies that is Popular in our country, and conform to enhance national self-confidence, and it pointed out that only tradition is not enough, we also according to the requirements of the times and the modern finance development question to develop it, then it describes in detail how the financial sector should inheritance and develop the financial traditional chinese culture, it think we should adhere to six path that both credit and benefit, both of virtue and the rule of law, both cooperation and competition, both steady and innovation, both people’s credit and collateral credit, both employee well-being and performance evaluation.
