The manufacturing industry is the material basis and support of national economic development. It is the engine of the rapid growth of the national economy, but also an important reflection of a country’s industrial competitiveness in the international arena. In the 20th century, with the integration of manufacturing and information technology and the increase of the investment of service elements in manufacturing value chain, production mode of manufacturing industry is undergoing revolutionary change. Meanwhile, production method, Business mode and competition state of global manufacturing is also changing quietly. Manufacturing service transformation is an important part and result of this revolution.Based on the research of service oriented manufacturing theory,the paper select the NARI service transformation as a case, and analyses the transformation strategy about business model, product service system and organization mode of the service manufacturing to determine the measure in electrical equipment manufacturing enterprise and to deepen the recognition of manufacturing theory. In the same while, the paper proves that manufacturing enterprise service transformation is a scientific choice and an inevitable trend by analyzing the case of NARI. Only through the service transformation, the manufacturing enterprises are likely to have the advantage in the price competition. Finally, hope the paper can provide reference for the service transformation of Chinese local manufacturing enterprises, and hope Chinese manufacturing enterprises can play a greater role in the world manufacturing industry.
