While e-commerce influence and change the traditional catering industry marketing model gradually, online review plays an important role in the catering businesses and consumer’s decision-making. This paper makes a research on the distribution of catering industry in Changsha urban area based on online review, enriching "the study of information in human geography" theoretically, providing basic information for government planning of service facilities and policy-making practically, offering tips on location and business categories and giving travel information for consumers at the same time. Based on the network data and previous investigation and research, this paper uses the method of comparative study on classification, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. Research on the service quality and spatial distribution and pattern of catering industry in Changsha urban area. The main conclusions are as follows:Construct the index system evaluating online review based on principal component analysis to rate the service quality of catering businesses in Changsha urban area, and divide catering businesses into 4 levels by the K-means clustering analysis. It is found that the development of catering industry in Changsha is not so good. The quantity of catring businesses with high service quality is small; the mid-rage catering businesses are lacked; the majority of catering businesses is poor in service quality. The service quality of traditional catering businesses is higher than that of fashion leisure ones, which show the trend of polarization.The distribution of catering businesses in Changsha urban area generally presents the regular rules of cluster distribution, the distribution along roads and decline from center to outer. The traditional catering businesses are more balanced overall urban area, while the distribution of fashion leisure catering businesses accumulate locally and scatter in the periphery. Catering businesses on low level of consumption restrict small space region; mid-range and mid-high end catering businesses occupy the dominant position in quantity and are more balanced, showing the decreasing trend from center to outer; high-end catering businesses are extremely uneven in spatial distribution and are highly coupled with the layout of large-scale business district.Analyzing the quantity and service quality of catering businesses by Arcgis, it shows some catering centers and grade these centers according to their central density and radiation range.Based on the distribution center level in quantity and quality, establish the grade distribution of catering center in Changsha urban area.Combined with central place theory, evaluate the spatial pattern of catering industry in Changsha urban area. It turns out that gradability exists and the rank number sequence is similar to that in central place theory, but differs greatly in the spatial pattern. There are some differences in the development of catering center at all levels and in the same level.The spatial pattern of catering industry in Changsha urban area takes WuYi square as the core and also has other sub centers. The spatial pattern is an approximate symmetric distribution with the line " Yinpenling-Wuyi Square-Houjiatang-Yuhuating-Linkeda-Hongxing " as the axis, on which the catering centers are distributed in a certain distance, and the distribution center is less and higher in grade in the southwest of the axis than that in the northeast. Optimize the original spatial pattern according to market, traffic, administration and public praise, retain the original rank number sequence and symmetric pattern, increase the number of central place and enhance the level of some central places. |
