The Impact Of The Patent System On The Development Of Chinese Bio-Pharmaeutical Industry

Bio-pharmaceutical industry is a high-tech industry, the level of development of the industry depends largely on the level of innovation in the industrial enterprises. The patent system is an important system to protect the enterprise innovations.This article will firstly give a demonstration of the patent system for the role of technological innovation and then it will talk about the impact of technological innovation for industrial development.In the end,it will demonstrate the important role of patent protection for the development of the industry.This article is divided into seven parts.The first part of this paper is an introduction, mainly summary and review on the issues related to the domestic and foreign research results and this is the theoretical basis of this article.The second part of this article discusses the content associated with the patent system. The third part analyzes the impact of the patent system for technological innovation, and concluded that the application of the patent system is good for developing countries.The fourth part discusses the role of technological innovation for industrial development, to lay the foundation for the later discussion of specific pharmaceutical industry. In the fifth and the sixth part of this paper,Granger causality test will be applied to discusses the positve effect of the patent system for the bio-pharmaceutical industry development.The last part is given the appropriate policy recommendations based on the foregoing discussion.
