In recent years, the information technology has sped up the pace of development, and the era of knowledge economy is becoming more and more perfect. In Human resource management, the fierce competition among enterprises is the talent competition in its essence. Therefore, the work in the modern enterprise management, performance management, as an important part of human resource management, has become a key link to enhance the level of human resource management.The successful implementation of performance management is assured by the enterprise policies and idea, organization environment, the effort of its employees and some other factors. In staff performance management, the performance management system, which is a series of criterions and operating procedure of the staff performance management is on the dominant position. It aims at understanding the defects and shortcomings in the work of employees, establishing scientific evaluation standard and realizing the implementation of effective management performance, through a variety of activities, such as performance appraisal, performance planning, performance feedback and so on.Nowadays, many enterprises have to carry out the performance management, and the performance management as an important tool is widely used in the enterprise management work. The leaders of the enterprises also care more care about performance management. But the performance management system in modern enterprises only take most focus on the top, and do not pay enough attention on the frontline staff. Therefore, how to find out the differential ability of employees, inspire the staff potential, exert their one’s ability and cleverness performance management mode, have become the biggest challenges currently faced by corporate managers. In the process of the reform of the electric power system, electric power enterprises to carry out performance management effectively, to improve the operational efficiency and benefit of enterprise, has the very important and far-reaching significance in improving the management level of power supply enterprise.Therefore, based on the study of domestic and foreign progressive corporation performance management concept, I used a number of research methods, including interviews, comparative law, research methods and so on to do the deep research and analyzed the company’s current performance management and finding out the defects and problem in ASST corporation. Then, based on the staff position, the article researches five kinds of staff positions in ASST corporation, and finds out the focus factors of the performance evaluation after detailed analysis of job characteristics, establishing a points system quantitative assessment model and optimizing the design of ASST corporation performance management in several ways, including the performance of communication, assessment indicators, the application of feedback results. As a result, I hole to establish a sound performance management system in ASST corporation, optimize performance management system and effective management to make up for the defects in general staff.Through the research of the paper, I hope that performance management can play an article role in company human resources management, especially can play a role in the management of frontline staff, so that front-line employees could improve performance levels, while prompting them to improve their own flaws and problems in order to do more contribute to organization, preventing all kinds of problems occur, so as the performance management can realize its value and significance.
