Zigong City Farmers Grain Production Management Behavior Research

Since the founding of new China,we have got great development in the agriculture and this has made tremendous contributions to our national stability and economic development. With complex and severe international economic situation,significance of the deepening global climate change and the risks and uncertainties increased and faced by the agricultural development, food security issues become more prominent. As the principal part of agricultural production, farmers’ survival and development can directly promote the development of agriculture, improve people’s living standard, influence the development of national economy and help maintain social stability. Therefore it’s of great importance for us to study and analyze the grain production andmanagement behavior of farmers which is to the benefit of mobilizing the Enthusiasm of farmers to grow grain, increasing the income, optimizing rural industrial structure then promoting the development of rural economy. Given this, we studied the grain production and management behavior of farmers from Zigong city, sichuan province, to provide reference for national policy formulation.In this paper, on the basis of peasant household behavior research theory, farmers in sichuan zigong area on the basis of the field survey data, through the analysis of the basic situation of the study area, and from the peasant household production decision-making, production input, technology adoption, the multiple occupations of farmers grain production and operation situation, induces the zigong area farmers grain production and business operation activities exist a lot, blind, low degree of organization, lack of enthusiasm and delelopment outstanding problems. At the same time the introduction of binary Logistic regression model, the empirical analysis was carried out on the farmers grain production and operation, inspection influence factors on the will of farmers grain direction and degree. Through theoretical analysis and model test of peasant household age, cultivated land scale, grain price, to participate in the cooperative organization and agricultural technical guidance and the peasant household food production management will positively correlated, level of education and the peasant household food production management will negatively correlated; Factors that affect grain farmers willingness is their age, education level, cultivated land scale, to participate in the cooperation organization, food prices and adopt new technology, which are the farmers determinants of food production and operation can achieve maximum profits.Based on the above studying,This article proposes the following policy recommendations:Increaseing efforts to support agriculture,improving farmers’ enthusiasm of gain-growing, accelerating the land transfer,developing appropriate scale of operation, accelerating the professional development of farmer cooperatives, enhancing the resilience of agriculture risk completing the agricultural extension service system, realizing "The Last One Kilometer", strengthening education training, improving the quality of farmers.
