According to the oil casing standard released by American Petroleum Institute, steel pipe enterprises should provide the customers with all manufacturing process data of each steel pipe and the production of steel pipe must meet the principles of traceability. Since the customer requirements for the type and specification of steel pipe become more and more diverse, steel pipe enterprises should make products according to the customer contract. Different customers require the steel pipe enterprises to provide different data. Different enterprise has the same manufacturing process for the same steel pipe type, but the same process has different production equipment. In order to solve the problems above, the complete solution of manufacturing process management for the steel pipe enterprise has been put forward.The solution has four aspects.Firstly, configuration model has been established and detail process of system configuration has been put forward to meet technical standard and customer diverse requirements. Secondly, the common parse interface module has been established and configuration file has been set to meet the demand of process equipment configuration.When the equipment changes, the configuration file can be modified directly. Thirdly, the steel pipe manufacturing process data using industry internet of things technology has been gathered and the manufacturing data has been connected with each steel pipe to ensure the quality. Fourthly, the management system of steel pipe manufacturing process for configuration has also been developed to meet demand.The problems which the steel pipe enterprises are faced with has been analyzed in the first chapter and lead to the significance and content of the research. In the second chapter the system configuration needs has been introduced and system solutions and function modules has been designed. In the third chapter research of manufacturing process data modeling, data gathering technology and system configuration technology has been done, laying the foundation for realizing function modules. In the fourth chapter the details of some main functions has been designed. In the fifth chapter the operation cases of the system has been introduced.Regarding commonality, the research of management solution and system of the steel pipe manufacturing process has been finished. The system can meet diverse demand through configuration management, then reduce the enterprise information cost.
