Study And Practice On Organizational Change Of Overall Business Model In Enterprise Y

In recent years with the periodic adjustment of China’s economy, the growth rate of economy has apparently slowed down. Domestic stainless industry meets with the serious imbalance between supply and demand which is induced by expansion of volume, sluggish market demand, and anti-dumping problems of EU to Chinese stainless steel. Price competition of stainless market is intense, and profit ability comes down obviously. More and more stainless enterprises are under the pressure of survival. It has become the same tasks of stainless enterprises that how to fit the change of outside environment by change in organizational structure. As a cold rolled stainless steel producer, enterprise Y also encounters this problem.By use of the basic theory of organizational structure change and SWOT analysis tool, the Superiority, Weakness, Opportunity and Threats of enterprise Y are analyzed and the necessity of organizational structure change of overall business model is also proposed. Though the adjustment of management concept and management model of production, Matrix Type Marketing Model, Product Manager System and Unit Manager System are established. Matrix Type Marketing Model can focus and serve users better. Product Manager System combines customer service and process management together, provides the customers tracking services before, during and after sales, and realizes the whole process management from raw materials to finished products. Unit Manager System takes the unit as the minimum operating unit and adopts network management. Then corresponding motivation mechanism is established and implemented. Finally organizational structure change of overall business model has been applied to the actual operations of the organization in enterprise Y and remarkable effects have been achieved.In this study analysis and management practice of organizational structure change of overall business model in enterprise Y are introduced. Hopefully it will be meaningful and helpful to the other enterprises in stainless steel industry or companies with similar needs.
