Enterprise culture is a set of values and standards of behavior shared by the employees of the enterprises, which are formed in the process of development and reform. It is unique, humane, innovative, normative and modern. The enterprise culture construction has management functions of directing, inspiring, disciplining, adjusting and brand effect and it has become the soul of modern enterprise. Enterprise ideological and political education is referred to that the enterprise management personnel solve the ideological problems adhering to the people- oriented policy by using a scientific educational method. It helps the employees set up the correct values and go to work with a positive attitude. Enterprise ideological and political education is the lifeline of enterprise reform and development with the characteristics of complexity, diversity, openness,scientificity and inclusiveness. There are differences and connections between enterprise culture construction and ideological and political education. They have consistency in the target, content, guiding ideology, work subjects and way of working, but difference in the nature, category and scope of work and level, method and process. They complement and promote each other, and co-exist in the enterprises’ production and management.With the deepening of reform and opening up, the socialist market economy gradually improves, while the competition between enterprises is becoming increasingly fierce. It can improve the market competitiveness of our country’s enterprises to coordinate the development of the enterprise culture construction and ideological and political education.The paper collects the related information about the enterprise culture construction and the ideological and political education domestic and aboard. It firstly states out the problems of outdated methods, lack of innovation and less participation of employees in the development process. Then the paper points out the necessity of the coordinated development of both and the principle of overall development, people-orientation, seeking truth from facts, valuing the benefits and responsibilities, which are taking Shougang Group as an example on the basis of predecessors’ research results. It also definitudes the route of the coordinated development of both, and proposes the important node from the aspects of personnel, organization, goal and enterprise civilization. The paper fills the theoretical blank of the coordinated development enterprise culture construction and ideological and political education in Shougang Group. It hopes to have a certain practical implementation in our province in the future.
