The risk analysis and the management activity is always the central content of the financial institutions management activities. With the rapid development of market economy in our country, the enterprise collectivization is more and more common, the number of enterprise group customer is increasing and the scale of operation is enlarging, the huge group customer credit line appeared frequently. China construction bank co.LTD. (CCB) is one of the leading large joint-stock commercial bank in Chinese, and the corporate banking business has been one of the traditional core competitiveness of CCB. Regardless of the customer scale, business scale, asset quality, comprehensive contribution, group customers business occupies the core position in the corporate banking business. At the end of 2012, the group customers’ loan balance of CCB is 3.5 trillion RMB Yuan, accounting for 68.1% of all of its corporate business. For CCB, control group customers credit risk is particularly important, and the group customers equity structure and organization structure is more complicated, credit standing is uneven, so the management risk, financial risk and related party transactions risk are much higher than the single customer and produce great difficulties for commercial banks.To solve above problems, this article studies the latest commercial banking group customer risk management theory. Starting from the analysis on group customers’risk, the article gives a comprehensive review about the group credit management system, marketing system and existing credit model of CCB. Taking typical cases of the Zhanjiang group and "TianBao system" for example, the article studies the group customers’ credit risk management measures of CCB, including credit rating, unified credit system, a significant risk reporting system, risk mitigation tools, risk management systems based on IT architecture, and analyzes the internal logic relations of these measures. Then the article summarizes the five big problems in the credit risk management measures of CCB, which are the design for the credit process of the group customers is rough, the risk management system should be perfected, credit flow within the group units is not strong, institution credit rule is lack, sensitivity to the affiliated transactions and contingent liabilities is weak, systemic credit risk culture need to be cultivated. Aimed at these problems, the article puts forward five advices, which include the optimization of customer segmentation for improving the unified credit granting process, the establishment of information interactive system for improving the overall risk management capability; supplement institution blank for focusing on historical data value, more closer cooperation for controlling of non fair trade, and adhere to the people-oriented for establishing the credit risk culture. Try to make the group customers’ credit risk management system of CCB more effective and perfect, make CCB cope with the future in The new Basel capital agreement and the challenge of interest rate marketization, and deal with the domestic and international competition deliberately.
