The rapid development of tourism increases environmental burden of scenic spot. Tourists’ irresponsible behavior is an important reason for the destruction of scenic environment. Tourists’ behavior management has become a critical issue in recreation impact management. Therefore, series of laws and regulations have been issued by government to standardize tourists’ behavior. But it can not completely eliminate tourists’ irresponsible behavior by law. Irresponsible behavior is caused by the weak awareness of social responsibility. Hence, in order to achieve the effective recreation impact management, tourists’ thought must be changed and tourists’ awareness of social responsibility must be improved. Learning and perceptual judgment is conducive to the formation of the social responsibility consciousness of tourists. At present, there are a lot of researches on the visitors’ recreation impact perception and environmentally responsible behavior, but researches on the relationship between those two are few. And researches on the social responsibility consciousness of tourists are also relatively rare.Based on this, this study introduced social responsibility consciousness of tourists into the researches on the relationship between visitors’ recreation impact perception and environmentally responsible behavior and established a structural equation model. Taking the Yuelu Mountain scenic area as an example, empirical analysis has been done based on sampling survey of 416 tourists by Amos software. The results shows: first, the tourists’ ecological environment impact perception and facility management impact perception have significant positive impact on tourists’ awareness of social responsibility, and the influence coefficient is 0.207 and 0.375 respectively. While the tourists’ conflict perception has significant negative influence on visitors’ awareness of social responsibility with the influence coefficient of-0.376. Second, tourists’ ecological environment impact perception has positive effect on protection-promoting behavior with the influence coefficient of 0.206. Third, visitors’ awareness of social responsibility has significant positive effect on self-discipline behavior, and the influence coefficient is 0.456. Fourth, self-restraint behavior of tourists has direct positive influence on protection and promoting behavior, and its influence coefficient is 0.577. Fifth, visitors’ awareness of social responsibility plays a mediating role in the relationships among tourist ecological environmental impact perception, facilities management perception, tourist conflict perception and environmental responsibility behavior. Self-discipline behavior plays a mediating role in social responsibility awareness and protection-promoting behavior. In general, tourists’ recreation impact perception mainly indirectly affects environmental responsibility behavior through the social responsibility consciousness, and the direct impact is very small.Finally, according to the conclusion of the study, scenic spots are advised to strengthen the control of visitors’ recreation impact perception, enhance tourists’ consciousness of the social responsibility and inspire visitors’ spontaneous persistent environmentally responsible behavior.
