Study On Improvement Of Bora Model Quality Management Of FAW-VW

With the rapid development of China’s automobile industry, the automobile market is more diversified, meanwhile consumer buying behavior is more rational, brand awareness is auch greatly enhanced. As the core element to support brand,Quality fundamentally affect consumer buying decision. So more and more auto production enterprises have upgraded quality to strategic level, as the foundation of the survival and development. Bora Model is identified as the first self-developed model of Faw-Volkswagen and one of the most important strategic cars. Through the deep research of the Bora Model quality management work, we can not only find the deficiency of Bora Model quality management, but also enhance the quality assurance ability of full process.Based on the research of the total quality management theory, this paper deeply analyzes present situation of Bora model quality management of FAW-VW, and combined with the statistical data, this paper expounds the problems of the Bora model quality management, and then uses a variety of analytical methods to the birth of product, purchased parts and production process to find the causes and gives a series of constructive improvement measures. To quality management of the birth of product, improvement mainly focused on quality requirements catalogue, QFD and trial-produce. For quality requirements catalogue, it is necessary to further optimize the corresponding process, formulate work rules, clear department responsibilities; For QFD, we should promote the related work, to enhance participation of quality assurance department. For trial-produce, we should strengthen the related function of quality assurance department to improve the ability of data validation. To quality management of purchased parts, improvement mainly focused on interface between project and serie production, bulk supply quality, supplier full system capability. For interface between project and serie production, duty and the transition mode should be optimized to enhance information transparency and strengthen the work continuity. For bulk supply quality, supplier quality control process should be optimized to effectively improve the quality of entry. For supplier full system capability, we should stabilize the supplier quality assurance ability through deeply involving in the core supplier strategy formulation and actively carry out supplier ability promotion plan, check the management blind area to strengthen management and improve the system of supplier quality ability. To quality management of the production, we need to continue to strengthen production process quality control, increase the intensity of product and process audit, enhance the capacity of new employees, at the same time import factory problem solving process to improve efficiency of problem solving, thus improve quality of Bora model. In order to guarantee the improvement work can fully be done, the corresponding safeguard measures are established in the matter of training system, performance management and quality consciousness. To training system, there are various channels of training, training courses, training methods and mechanism which are adapted to different groups. In addition, it is important to improve the internal process of training system at the same time. To performance system, this paper gives corresponding suggestion in the matter of performance planning, performance monitoring and performance assessment. To quality consciousness, through the practice of quality lean activities and strengthening quality culture construction to improve the staff’s quality consciousness.These improvement measures and safeguard measures not only can effectively improve current quality management of Bora model, enhance vehicle quality, but also can strengthen the company comprehensive ability of quality assurance system, thus enhance the competitive ability of FAW-VW in the same industry.
