As one of the main sectors in the tertiary industry, catering industry played an important role in promoting economic growth and stimulating consumer demand.Besides, it has made a positive contribution in expanding domestic demand, market prosperity and improving the quality of people’s living standard and so on. In small catering enterprises in the logistics distribution has a very prominent position,because it is closely related with the consumer, so it has become a vital link in the logistics system. And now the traditional logistics has been difficult to meet the requirements of China’s small and medium-sized catering enterprises respond rapidly to the market demand. Therefore, it is necessary for us to optimize the management model of logistics system in China small and medium-sized catering enterprises to realize the logistics operation cost decreased, enhancement of the overall operation efficiency improvement of the core competitiveness, so as to promote the development of chain fast food enterprise.This paper based on the background and significance of this topic are introduced, and the research contents, methods and basic framework are described.Elaborated on China’s small and medium-sized catering enterprises logistics management system related theory, including the basic concepts of logistics, supply chain management, such as the composition, characteristics and optimization of logistics system in catering industry At the same time, the optimization method of logistics system management is described. On this basis, the analysis of the existing problems in the management of small food logistics system, and the reasons for the formation of the in-depth analysis. In view of the problems existing in the logistics management of small food and beverage industry, the management optimization model is established, and the model is solved by the method of linear programming.According to the results of the model, some effective countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to improve the management efficiency of the logistics system of small sized catering enterprises in our country.Through the research of this paper, it can provide the corresponding theoretical guidance and practical support for the supply logistics mode of the same type of small catering enterprises.
