Research On Coordinated Development Between Railway Infrastructure And Regional Economy

As China’s economy continued to increase downward, the imbalances on regional economy development become more prominent. The stimulating effect of the railway on the economy, prompting the state has adopted a series of economy policy closely related to railway construction. Especially the planning and implementation of "the Belt and Road" strategy led to a further boost that the railway stimulate the economy. Whether the scale of railway construction and development of regional economy coordinated, and whether there are differences among different regions’coordination. Therefore, it has great theoretical and practical significance to deal with these issues for the relationship between railway infrastructure and regional economy.This paper selects "Coordinated Development between Railway Infrastructure and Regional Economy" as the research item, Firstly, this paper defined the scope of this research by summarizing the concept of railway infrastructure and regional economy, discussed the mechanism of coordinated development between railway infrastructure and regional economy, combined with the system theory and coordination theory. Secondly, this paper set up the index system of the development level of the railway infrastructure and regional economy, constructed the quantitative evaluation model to evaluate the coordinate development level development between railway infrastructure and regional economy of every province, and map out the distribution map of the coordination between railway infrastructure and regional economy in China. Then, this paper analyzed the coordination capability between railway infrastructure and regional economy of three regions in China by introducing the multi-dimensional gray model GM (1, N). According to the correlation of factors between rail infrastructure and economy systems in three major regions, this paper analyzed deeply the relative strengths and influence of various factors, by introducing the gray relational model. Finally, this paper proposed some recommendation and policy to promote the coordinated development between Railway Infrastructure and regional economy from the national and regional levels, based on the qualitative and quantitative analysis results.
