Research On The Development Of Vegetable Logistics In Xingtai City

With the development of modern social society, the logistics is developing rapidly. Vegetables as one of the people’s daily necessities, it’s marketization degree is increasing day by day, consumers have put forward higher requirements to vegetable logistics, they not only require the vegetables be various, green and fresh, but also pay more attention to the delivery timeliness. However, because of the pace of agricultural’s backward, the agriculture especially the fresh fruits and vegetables logistics still haven’t attracted the people’s attention, which weakened the competitiveness of vegetables greatly. Xingtai is one of the important production areas of vegetables in Hebei province, vegetables as one of the three advantage industries of Xingtai district, is occuping a pivotal position,it has becoming an important source of farmers’ income. Meanwhile, the serious low circulation efficiency,low information technology,profession and organization have affected the level of commercialization of vegetables. Therefore there come to an important question that how to make vegetables appear on the table in time and quickly,to develop a broader market and to increase farmers’ income. which needs more people’s attention and research.Based on the background, with the foundation of related theory of modern vegetable logistics and cold chain logistics, this paper connected theory with practice, analyzed the actual status of Xingtai vegetables logistics, scientificly predicted the trend of vegetable logistics’ market needs and discussed the existing problems. The advanced experience of home and abroad points out that Xingtai vegetable logistics should be supported by the government, absobing the advanced logistics technology and management methods, improving cold chain logistics and third-party logistics devolopment, promoting the development of agriculture and increasing the farmers’ income.
