In recent years, as the Chinese economy went into a new normal, GDP growth rate began to slow down. As a result of an increase in overcome and people’s willingness to invest in property declining, financial products developed by commercial banks has gained rapid growth. But there’s also room to improve, for example, the distribution of the financial product is still largely reliant on traditional channels and there’s mush need for innovation to bring more diversified products.Under this background, this thesis is to analyze the problems existing in the design, operation and sales of financial products, and put forward countermeasures and suggestions to promote the healthy development of China’s commercial banks.As is shown in the paper, personal financial services of commercial banks in China have problems significantly in product design, lack of service concept, lack of high quality financial personnel and lack of financial channels and other issues. Commercial banks in developed countries provides good practices for China’s commercial banks have in the use of a variety of financial products market, designing a personalized product line to meet the needs of customers, so that the product operation process and marketing become more targeted. In conclusion, suggestions are put forward for China’s commercial banks to improve in personal financial services. To strengthening cooperation between financial institutions and banking sectors, to focusing on personal financial product development skills and innovation, to focus on creating personal financial brands, to expand marketing channels, to promote the reform of regulatory system and strengthen the construction of personnel are on the top list among them.
