With the further development of China’s market economy, the market is constantly changing. As an essential intermediate link in the market economy, banks must adapt to the market economy. Small and medium enterprises in the market economy, especially the small and medium enterprises, the performance is particularly prominent. This requires that banks must do better in risk management for small and medium enterprises to adapt to the development of the market environment.At present, the theory of financial management is the basis of the theoretical system of bank credit rating, which plays an important role in the actual rating. However, due to the fact that there is a great deal of information asymmetry in the actual operation, so the credit rating method is also a great deal of uncertainty, risk control has become an important part of the credit rating. At this time, we must consider the method of financial management as the basis, we must take into account the information asymmetry factor.In this paper, the credit rating of small and medium enterprises in C bank is committed to improving the non-performing rate of C bank in credit business of small and medium enterprises, and to improve the credit risk control ability of C bank. First, the credit rating of small and medium enterprises must be built on the method of financial management, through the financial analysis of the enterprise’s asset liability ratio and other indicators, to determine the solvency of the enterprise. And then through the enterprise utility bill, to measure and analyze the enterprise’s production capacity. The rationality of credit rating is further improved by these secondary indexes.The real case analysis by C bank SME credit evaluation, to reveal the real problems in the original rating more directly, by introducing auxiliary indicators to improve the existing problems in the actual ratings.
