Investigation Into The Current Situation Of Large-scale Farming Laying Hens In Xinxiang And Nanyang City

Laying hens’ cultivation has a long history in Henan Province. It is one of the traditional laying hens’ cultivation provinces in China. In recent years, with the development of economy,the scale of laying hens’ cultivation is growing-constantly. Based on the investigation of all aspects of layer farm production in Xinxiang City and Nanyang City,according to the survey data,this paper summarizes the basic situation of laying hens farm in Xinxiang City and Nanyang City. In view of the existing problems, this paper puts forward the operable policy recommendations to promote the healthy development of egg industry in Xinxiang City and Nanyang City. It has a very important theoretical and practical significance.This study considers that the modern super large firm of laying hens’ cultivation is very little in Xinxiang City and Nanyang City. Most firms are medium scale. Breeding pattern is big in the middle and small at both ends. There are many problems restricting the development of the industry in laying hens. For example,the management level of laying hens’ farm is relatively low. The level of mechanization is low. The level of organization of laying hens’ cultivation industry needs to be improved. Operation mode is single. The fluctuation of egg price is big. Disease control and prevention is difficult and so on.In order to promote the development of laying hens industry in Xinxiang City and Nanyang City,some measures must be taken:First of all,on the laying hens breeding,it should take family breeding pattern to improve the degree of organization of laying hens’ farm, improve the economy of scale of layer industry; Take green and standard production to promote the sustainable development of layer industry; Secondly, farmers should adjust production timely according to market changes.The government should strengthen the support to prevent the production change radically. Finally, the government should strengthen the construction of early warning mechanism of chicken industry. Warning people the epidemic disease and risk of breeding early to reduce market risk.
