Since the Eighteenth Conference Representative the People, accelerating financial reform, expansion and loan interest rate deregulation, the new three boards, and a series of measures were made, which means that China’s financial sector will be more open and market-oriented. In the open financial environment, how to obtain sustainable competitive advantage have become the important issues facing modern joint-stock commercial bank. Strategy is the navigator of the development of the enterprise, if an enterprise’s development direction errors, even if no amount of effort cannot be based on the market, making profits, only own suitable development strategy, the enterprise can gain advantage in the fierce competition environment and to be the winner.In this paper, Jilin Branch Affiliated to China Minsheng Banking Crop as the object of research, we based on the author’s experience, through on-the-spot investigation, analysis the development strategy formulation and implementation of Jilin branch, which hope providing the basis for shareholding commercial Banks of our country strategic designing.Firstly, the paper analyzes the relevant theories of strategic management, the evolution process of strategic management, and analysis method of the major schools of strategic management. Then on the basis of theoretical analysis research development present situation of Jilin branch, puts forward the existing problems and reasons in the development, then studies Jilin branch of the external macro environment, micro external environment and internal environment, and design SWOT analysis matrix of Jilin branch. By the analysis of Five Competitive Model, we summarize the existing of Jilin branch and to deal with competitors and potential competitors. On the basis of SWOT analysis, we summed up the Jilin branch that it faces the external opportunities and threats, advantages and disadvantages, studies the development direction of the need to make sure. We used strategic management, financial management, and other related theory, to propose the strategic objectives and development idea of Jilin branch, with related principles for bedding, to plan the development strategy of Jilin branch, and put forward development strategy. Finally, the article combined with the actual situation of Jilin branch, put forward the development strategy of Jilin branch which needs to take measures in the process of implementing, and on the basis of it, we study the security system of implementation for strategy.
