With the rapid development of economic society, Tourism, as the emerging industry, with its strong momentum of development has become one of the largest industries in the world. It is a sunrise industry and the sustainable development of resource saving smokeless industry, and it is the new power of development in modern economic and social. Meanwhile, tourism must be based on the region as the basis, in order to fully reflect its important position in the national economy.Wuxue city is rich in tourism resources, has the advantages of convenient transportation and profound historical and cultural heritage. How to make full use of Wuxue’s resources and geographical advantages, accelerate the development of local tourism industry development of Wuxue City, is an important task of economic and social development.However, we should clearly recognize that there are some problems in the development of tourism industry in Wuxue. Such as scenic spots construction is lagging behind, the surrounding area of fierce competition, tourism promotion is not in place, the local tourism products is not enough, the management system and the policy support of the government is weak and so on a series of questions. Therefore, it is important and far-reaching practical significance for the research and development of the tourism industry in Wuxue city.In this paper, the author makes a systemic analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the development of tourism industry in Wuxue, based on the overall industrial layout, put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.First of all, the local government should give a positive guide for the tourism development to grasp the direction, improve the quality and increase the speed from the aspects of planning, projects, infrastructure, propaganda and policy. Secondly, the local administration of tourism should take some measures to regulate the market and promote the tourism from the aspects of the legal system, team building and security management. Thirdly, the local administration of tourism should strengthen the tourism market and product promotions. Fourthly, the local government should speed up the construction of infrastructure such as transportation, reception service,information technology and so on. Fifthly, the local government should innovate the model of investment and financing, strengthen the management of construction projects, and the establishment of mechanisms to reduce the debt, government debtrisk. Final, the local government should encourage and support the development of trade associations and non-governmental organizations.
