With the development of economic globalization and evolution of trade integration, our country automotive industry achieves great of breakthroughs. so the car companies have an increasingly fierce competitive. Purchasing management of auto parts directly determines the quality of the vehicle, as an important part of the production process, which plays a crucial role in the process of enterprise development. In the traditional purchasing management thought, companies only focus on parts prices, when select suppliers, the price as the first consideration and eventually they will sign a supply contract with the lowest bid supplier. The purchasing management thought can reduce procurement costs of enterprises that could win a certain profit in the short term. But the long-term perspective, it is negative for development of enterprises which ignore the quality of purchased parts, suppliers of credit, service levels, delivery time and other factors. The traditional purchasing management thought already cannot adapt to the changeable and complex market environment, companies want to survive in the competitive environment it must adopt new management ideas that can adapt to market environment. Based supply chain management thought of purchasing management that cannot require price as the first element of the choice of suppliers. Firstly enterprises should formulate an integral supplier’s evaluation standard which combines the qualitative and quantitative by considering the price, the quality of product, supplier service level, the delivery time of suppliers, the credit of suppliers and other factors. This is the development aspect of enterprises purchasing management in the future. The paper by A automobile company as a case study, compared and analyzed the though of traditional purchasing management and purchasing in the supply chain environment that can find the defect of traditional purchasing management and the superiority of purchasing in the supply chain environment. Propose methods and ideas base on the improvement procurement efficiency and reduce procurement costs that achieve the objective by reducing costs and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.The paper follow the pattern that finding questions,analyzing questions, solving questions and feedback which elaborate the four existing problems that the purchasing organization, purchasing process and suppliers management, purchasing strategy about A company purchasing management. By combining practical experiences, applying procurement supply chain management thought and proposing feasible optimization suggestions which can improve product and service quality, save expenses, reduce cost, standardize the management of the purpose between the supply chain and suppliers, and constantly enhance their market competitiveness.
