Research Of The U.S. Economic Crisis : Based On The Marx’s Economic Crisis Theory

In 2008, an economic crisis which is the most severe crisis since the World War II happened in the USA. It occurred in the background of the economic globalization and seriously affected the economy of most countries in the world, especially the capitalist country.More than a hundred years ago, Marx had researched and analyzed the economic crisis deeply in his books. He revealed that the essence of the economic crisis is overproduction, the economic crisis is caused by the unbalance of the distribution of social labor and the root of the economic crisis is the basic contradiction between the socialization of production and the form of capitalist production possession. Marx’s economic crisis theory is important for the study of the U.S. economic crisis both on theory and reality. The U.S. economic crisis is evolved from subprime crisis, credit crisis, bank crisis and financial crisis. The expansion of fictitious economy and the lack of government regulation are also the reasons of this crisis of the U.S. economy explosion. However, the root of economic crisis is still the basic contradiction of capitalism which is exactly revealed by Marx. And the procession of the crisis is corresponding with Marx’s analysis of the cyclical economic crisis.From the U.S. economic crisis we can learn that the global economy is related more and more closely. Under the background of the global economic integration, no country can defeat such a critical crisis. Therefore, to the economy of our country the revelation from the U.S. economic crisis is that we should understand the economic crisis correctly and hold to the basic socialist economic system; we should adhere to the proportional distribution of the social labor and promote the coordinated development of economy; we should strengthen the macro-control and improve the socialist market economy, and keep the development of economy continuously and healthily.
