With the increasing of the external uncertainty, absorping of knowledge rapidly is one of the important ways to deal with uncertainty and improve the performance of enterprises.An enterprise hasing a higher absorbing ability can search, acquire, convert and use the knowledge needed quickly, and they could convert the knowledge into corporate profits and help enterprises win in competing. Therefore, how to improve the absorptive capacity of knowledge is not only a theoretical problem for the scholars, but also a realistic problem for the enterprise.Most of enterprises in our country are in the fast growing stage, absorbing the knowledge resources quickly is contribute to the healthy and sustainable development of the enterprise. In the operation of enterprises, the decision will affect their own knowledge absorptive capacity, and the behavioral theory of the firm is the detailed observation of enterprise decision-making procedure, to study the enterprise internal factors how to influence corporate decision-making formulation. Based on the behavior theory of the firm, from the organizational expectations, organizational slack and organizational past performance, we will study the formation mechanism of absorptive capacity of enterprises.Through researching enterprises and reviewing literatures, based on the behavioral theory of the firm,we will establish the absorption ability of the formation mechanism of the conceptual model. The paper proposes seven hypothesis about organizational expectations, organizational slack, past performance, potential and realized absorptive capacity, and enterprise performance to study the formation mechanism of the potential and the realized absorptive capacity. And then, through collecting the data of enterprises, the data will be processed and analyzed by SPSS and Smart PLS statistical tools, and the model and hypothesis were verified and corrected.The results of the study show that: the organizational expectation and the organizational slack has positive impact to the potential absorptive capacity; the past performance of organizations has positive impact to the real absorptive capacity; the potential absorptive capacity positively affects the realized absorptive capacity; the potential and realized absorptive capacity has positive impact to enterprise performance. Finally, we propose suggestions to enhance the potential and realized absorptive capacity on the basis of our studies.
