On the basis of reviewing and analyzing the existing literature,this research tried to examine the mechanisms of how CPM leadership on employees’ voice behavior and counterproductive work behavior.The relationship of CPM leadership and paternalistic leadership with leadership effectiveness was also investigated.Through statistical analysis of survey data collected from employee in China,the results indicated:1.CPM leadership had a positive effect on employees’ voice behavior;C was partially mediated by trust in supervisor and psychological safety;P was partially mediated by trust in supervisor;M was fully mediated by trust in supervisor and psychological safety.2.Trust in supervisor and affective commitment had a full mediating on the relation between C and employees’ counterproductive work behavior.Trust in supervisor and affective commitment had a partially mediating on the relation between P and CWB-O.Trust in supervisor and affective commitment had a partially mediating on the relation between M and CWB-I.3.For the job satisfaction,organizational commitment and turnover intention, CPM leadership has better prediction results than paternalistic leadership.
