In the open innovation environment, the user is an important source of external business innovation, and along with the development of information technology large numbers of the user community arises and provides corporation an effective way to incorporate user community into the innovation process. In the user community, companies can recruit users to get creative innovation and drive innovation perception, but the premise here is that knowledge can be effectively transferred from the user to the enterprise. Knowledge transfer is influenced by a wide variety of factors, users are the owner of all kinds of thoughts and ideas, knowledge transfer inevitably affected by user’s individual characteristics, individual’s willingness and ability are two main aspects of research knowledge transfer, so users transfer willingness and ability become two of the most critical elements in user – enterprise knowledge transfer.Numerous studies have shown the willingness and ability of transfer knowledge has a prediction to transfer performance, but some scholars came to inconsistent conclusions. Therefore, in the context of the user community, it is necessary to test the effectiveness of the community user’s willingness and ability to transfer performance. In addition, existing research studies seem to simply research a direct impact of the willingness and ability to knowledge transfer performance, while the analysis of the internal mechanism is inadequate. Around these issues, based on the review of the relevant literature, combined the theory of planned behavior, personality theory, symbolic interaction theory and social exchange theory,the passage takes the user community for the study, along the logic of "willingness and ability to transfer- communication- knowledge transfer performance",put forward specific research hypotheses and theoretical models and use the questionnaires to obtain research data, after that we use the software tools of SPSS17.0 to assume an empirical analysis of research and theoretical models.The empirical results show that community user’s transfer willingness and ability has a positive impact on the performance of the enterprise knowledge transfer, but the transfer of the user’s willingness have a direct impact on corporate knowledge transfer performance, communication did not produce an intermediary role between the two. The user’s transfer ability not only directly affect the performance of knowledge transfer, but also indirectly by user- enterprise communication to exert a positive influence on knowledge transfer. In addition, the process of knowledge transfer are also affected by the two sides trust, user-enterprise’s trust has a regulatory role between communication and knowledge transfer performance. To a certain extent the findings enriched the theory of knowledge transfer, and has certain practical significance on enterprise to effectively obtain user knowledge and promote innovation. Of course, this study has some shortcomings which needs further research.
