Study On Organization Structure Change Of BS Co.,Ltd.

The main function of organizational structure is to carry and support business operations. The development of organizational structure is dynamic, and the main purpose of the development is to expand and improve the business continuously. During the organization expanding their business, a functional management system is required. A functional management system can help organization effective and efficient to manage their key resources to create synergy. This is the only way to win the completive advantage for long term. BS Company is a public company specializing in research and manufacture of diamond tools. During the period of its development, the original organization structure is hard to support the business anymore. Therefore BS requires improve or rebuild their organizational structure.This article is based on related theories of organizational structure and management system. Firstly, this article mentions its content, methods and train of thoughts. Secondly, it describes BS Company’s development history and previous changes of organization structure. It emphatically diagnoses and analyses the questions about the existing organization structure. Thirdly, by aiming at the questions about control mechanism, control positioning ant organization synergy on the existing organization structure, and by contrast with the organizational structure of the benchmarking enterprises of the same industrial, this article provides some advices about the choice of control mode and organization structure mode. Finally, this article also provide some advices about the adjustment of functional departments of headquarter and their duties, the duties of Business Unit, and the control on overseas subsidiaries. Although BS Company is only a specific example, its organizational structure change reflects the sources of question of the other similar enterprises during the period of development. By this study, I look forward that the above advices could be useful for the organizational structure change of BS Company and the other similar enterprises.
