Since the upper echelons theory suggested that a growing number of scholars and managers recognize the importance of team decisions related research scholars of corporate strategic management theory gradually from the research to the study of individual characteristics of managers senior management team features. However, due to the research subject, research environment, research perspective and research methods are not the same, the results are not the same, so the upper echelons theory on research there is still much room for development. From the existing literature, we can see, corporate strategy and corporate performance characteristics depend on the senior management team to some extent. Although some scholars believe that there is a conflict between the executive team members, team heterogeneity will reduce the quality of decision making, the impact of the performance, but the thesis argues that the team is inevitable conflict, the conflict is not a reaction to the heterogeneity of the executive team strategy and performance reasons constructive conflict between team members but to improve the ability to quickly identify problems and solve problems effectively. Considering the focus of previous research scholars focused on the senior management team heterogeneity and firm performance relationship, the intermediary role of strategic considerations is relatively small, has some limitations. The thesis introduces a variable conversion strategy, executive team depth study heterogeneity, the intermediary role strategic transformation and strategic relationship between the three performance and strategic transformation.In the thesis, a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, the basic theory and literature on the proposed hypothesis and research model, using statistical analysis tools to collect samples and data for empirical analysis. The results show that: Although the relationship between the functions of the senior management team assume background heterogeneity and corporate strategy performance does not pass inspection relations, corporate executives age heterogeneity and strategic performance is not very significant, but, overall, the TMT Heterogeneity performance of the business strategy has significant positive guiding role; positive role in guiding corporate strategy to convert to corporate strategy performance also by examining; converting corporate strategy played a partial mediating role in the executive management team heterogeneity and performance of the corporate strategy.By studying the relationship between TMT Heterogeneity convert corporate strategy and business strategy performance, deepening the senior management team and strategic management theory, provide some meaningful suggestions and strategies for reasonable build and optimize enterprise executive team.
