| With the rapid advance of new urbanization, population scale and land scale expanded rapidly, commuting distance increased and traffic congestion intensified, non-constructive land devoured continuously by construction land phagocytosis. Than it caused the promble of resource utilization inefficiency outstanding and ecological environment deterioration gradually.How to build the sustainable development of the compactness city is an effective way to crack this promblem.Taking Nanchang as example, the study revealed the evolution process of construction land spatial pattern at the scales of central, county and town in Nanchang from the changed of landscape pattern and expansion features, and then to establish an corresponding index system for compactness measurement, then using AHP, synthesized estimating model to evaluate the variation trend and the spatial difference. On this based, taking the principal component analysis, quadrant analysis and buffer analysis to proved the dynamic mechanism of compactness at different scales, lastly, according to the analysis, raised somes advice about how to build a compact city for Nanchang. And then hope that it will provide the scientific basis for policy making, planning compilation and so on at different levels departments, furthermore, make a reference to evaluate compactness in central and western regions of China. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)During 2000-2013,construction land area increased from 84.77km2 to 199.21km2 in central of Nanchang, the annual average growth rate is 4.42%;in country of Nanchang construction land area increased from 14.01km2 to 47.05km2,the annual average growth rate is 18.15%; in town of Nanchang construction land area increased from 10.47km2to52.30km2,the annual average growth rate is 30.73%.(2)During 2000-2013,the landscape pattern of construction land was compact in central of Nanchang, and the gravity of construction land has moving to north west continuously, the migration distance was 113.43 m,the leading direction was graduallyturned to west from east; the degree of fragmentation of construction land was weakened about the four country towns,the gravity of construction land has moved to northwest for Nanchang country, Xinjian country and Jinxian country; but the gravity of construction land has moved to east by south for Anyi country,the migration distance was 187.79mã€299.96 m 〠14.94 m and 469.98m;the landscape pattern was preferable for most of town,Changdong,Shenmi and Wangcheng which construction land extension quantity was larger,and growth rate was faster,growth intensity was enhanced obviously.(3)During 2000-2013,at central scales,the compactness of 6 sides for central of Nanchang that population,economy,land,resource efficiency and space form were all increased,and the urban compactness increased from 0.5645 to 0.7505,it had transformed more compactness from general compactness.At country scales,the compactness was low,the compactness of population and economy were enhanced,and the compactness of space form was declined appreciably for Anyi country and Jinxian country,but it was enhanced for Nanchang country and Xinjian country.At town scales,the compactness was declined appreciably,the number of compact unit was decreased,the number of general compact unit was increased,and the un-compact unit has not appeared yet.Moreover,the difference among towns was small and the spatial pattern which the hotspots distributed around Meilin and Junshan lake,the coldspots distributed around central of Nanchang was unchanged.(4)For central,Population Density,Second and Third Industries Practitioner Density,Per Capita GDP,Per Area GDP,Per Area Value of Gross Output,Per Ten Thousand Bus,Percent of Built Up Areas,percent of construction areas, Public green land per capita,Fractal Dimentison were the main factors which influnced the compactness of central of Nanchang,in addition,Shpe Rate and Largest Patch Index were lesser.For country,Shpe Rate Per Area Value of Gross Output and urbanization rate were the major factors that influnced the compactness,and the cumulative obstacle degree were all beyond75%,and that,this effect was increased.For town,the compactness of town was higher,which was far from traffic line or regional center,the traffic line and regional center were the hindrance factors for the compactness of town,however,the water system was the advantage factor for the compactnesss.(5)Based on the concept of compact city,the results showed that the central of Nanchang should do that accelerating new-type urbanization,optimizing the industrial structure,encouraging public transportation and making urban planning as a whole.Nanchang country and Xinjian country should intensify regional interaction with central of Nanchang and enlarge the scale of urban population denpending on location advantage,Anyi country and Jinxian country should improve the efficiency of construction land under considering the terrain and water system fully town of Nanchang should accordto transpotation,industry,tourism and agricultural,then enhance the capacity of the population,economy,industries. |
