After China became a member of WTO, with the ever-increasing global economic, stronger competition appear among various enterprises. Jiangsu, as a economical, cultural and technological province, it has been developing in high speed. high-tech enterprises play a very important role. Facing the pressure from fierce competition, most enterprises are reforming themselves continuously. Compensation management becomes more important in enterprises. Many enterprises recognize that compensation management gradually behind the development of enterprises, and hinder the development of enterprises. So, build a suitable strategic compensation management system is imperative.In order to find out the practical significance of building a strategic compensation management system, we will take the high-tech enterprises in Jiangsu Province as the research background. And based on the compensation management, incentive theory, theory of competitive advantage and strategic compensation management theory, also make use of comparative analysis and comprehensive analysis to discuss the differences of existing compensation management system and strategic compensation management system. Later we will build a strategic compensation management system for high-tech enterprises in Jiangsu referring to the principle of compensation design, to solve problems occur in compensation management. At the end of article, we use case analysis to show the problems exist in compensation system of company ā€œZā€. Combine with its development strategy, we will build a suitable strategic compensation management system. This system also will be useful for other companies.
