A Study On Development Of Chongqing Low-carbon Economy Based By System Dynamics Theory

As global warming and energy consumption increasing, searching a new mode of economic development- the low-carbon economy, has become the consensus of all countries in the world. More than 30 years of reform and opening up, China’s economic and social development has made great achievements, but also has consumed a lot of energy resources. At the same time, the consumption of energy has brought a lot of carbon dioxide emissions and made great destruction to the ecological environment. Therefore, to seek the low carbon development has become important to China’s economic transformation. Chongqing, as an important economic growth pole of the western region, has have the important responsibilities of the lead in the western economic development since the crown But in the process of development, energy consumption and environmental pollution are very serious, and still cannot get rid of the "three highs" of economic development mode. Therefore, to some extent, the situation influence the sustainable development of Chongqing’s economic and social. In 2010, Chongqing ushered the historic opportunities of low carbon exchange that Chongqing is listed as one of the national pilot. During the rapid development of the "twelfth five-year" period, Chongqing’s industrial development, energy consumption, carbon emissions are obtained to improve, and its economic and social development transit to a low carbon mode.In this paper, a low-carbon economic development in Chongqing is the research object. It obtains three factors- economic development, energy consumption and carbon emissions, which are the core elements of the low-carbon economy development by the theory of system theory, sustainable development theory, and 3 e. At the same time, the paper analyzes the current development of economy, energy, carbon emissions in Chongqing and some related problems. Then, the paper divides the low-carbon economic system into three subsystems-economy, energy, carbon emissions on the basis of system dynamics. And, the paper simulates the running status of Chongqing’s low carbon economy development system from 2005 to 2020.At the same time, the paper points out the existing problems in the development of Chongqing’s low carbon economy in the initial conditions. In view of the above problems, the paper puts forward some feasible development paths in the future five years of Chongqing’s low carbon economy development, thus to ensure the smooth realization of the goal of low carbon economy development of Chongqing.
