At present, the rapid advancement of China’s urbanization construction rapid development, resulting in the project spread too widely, blossom everywhere without a limit. Lack of life long-term and meticulous and careful planning, blind construction caused a lot of pollution to the ecological environment, which had made serious impact on the social environment, resulting in the urban ecological and social environment is unharmonious. So it is necessary to have a whole life cycle concept and idea in the construction program and planning. Especially in the first stage of conception, we should pay attention to the management and operation quality of the project in the long-term operation period, with overall planning and pull through consideration, so as to ensure its value and function coming true. The project’s long-term economic benefits and social benefits are to be realized together and it would has a sustainable development coordinated the social environment.At the same time, the traditional project management carries out its program with trial and error approach to planning. Respectively according to professional contract and independent management in the implementation process, caused the members and relative parties involved always consider from their own interests, It is difficult for them to proceed from the overall situation, fully grasp the project overall, formed a common project goals. So we can use the construction supply chain model, eliminate "information islands" between the project participants with its information flow, under the support of the management platform running with IT technical. It will do a good to enhance the communication and exchanges, achieve information sharing, coordinated, and enhance the overall ability.With the rapid development of economy and science and technology, the continuous expansion of the scale of investment in construction projects, new construction project organization mode are constantly emerging. At present, the construction of supply chain management is becoming a kind of innovation mode of the project organization management of Chinese construction industry, which is widely adopted in the practice.This thesis intends to study construction supply chain and its coordination of relevant theory and find out method of management and what operation condition is good, to enrich and supplement the construction methods of supply chain organization and management. Establishing supply chain organization can improve the organization of information integration and resource sharing level, and improve the efficiency of decision-making. And in this process it’s easier to solve the existing problems of low efficiency in high consumption, beyond time limit of a project, which are universal problem in the Chinese construction. It will reduce the total cost of the construction project, and enhance enterprise core competence as well. And the conclusion will promote the further development of building economy and the theory of project management.On this basis, this paper also combined the actual project construction, in view of the general contracting and partner cooperation and concurrent engineering and the information management platform, the influence from them to the construction supply chain and its operation are analyzed. And the operation characteristics of construction supply chain under the condition of Virtual organization or JIT supply or industrialized construction is prospected. They are blend with each other and promote to each other.This paper consists of seven chapters, including introduction, life cycle management, construction supply chain characteristics and key factors, partnership and concurrent engineering in the construction supply chain, construction supply chain development trend prospect etc. Those five chapters is the theoretical analysis of the content. In the sixth chapter, it was validated the above analysis and opinion through the analysis of the two big projects experience. And at last a summary and some recommendations were carried out in the seventh chapter. With the rapid popularization of general contract management mode in China’s construction engineering industry, the results of this paper will have broad application prospects. The implementation and increasing popularity of construction supply chain management under support of information management platform has important practical significance.
