The Research On The Formation Mechanism And Regulation Of Spatial Distribution Of The Urban Village

The problems of urban village is one of the "urban disease" faced by many big cities in the process of rapid urbanization in China. Many cities in China have carried out the transformation work of urban village. For a long time, urban-rural dual structure under planning economy is not only the structural cause of urban village but also the reason for long existence of urban village problem. The rapid development of urban economy will highlight the lagment of urban village development. In 1990 s,cities expanded to suburbs rapidly and many cities showed radioactive, pie-style space features which resulted in various levels of complexity of urban village problem. In addition, the urban village has become a cheap migrant workers live, If the problems of urban village can’t be handled and properly solve the problem of urban internal binary structure, will bring the serious urban diseases and aggravate the urban-rural split, hinder the overall regional development.This paper takes Nanjing city as the research object, first survey field research the status and distribution of 45 urban village(excluding Gaochun and Lishui), analysis the physical environment, economic, social and cultural characteristics of the urban village of Nanjing.Secondly, from the two aspects of internal factors and external power of discussing the forming mechanism of urban village in Nanjing City. Internal factors analysis three aspects mainly from the system, property right and path dependence in the framework of institutional economics. The external power mainly carries on the analysis from four aspects of urbanization, road construction, economic and spatial structure, continued outward expansion of cities and economic development to the village in the city has shown its special space structure.In the end, it analyses regularities of spatial distribution of the urban village of Nanjing from the view of city spatial structure, and summarized the suggestions for the reconstruction of the urban village in city. Mainly from the marginal, economy, density of road network and development intensity. Urban villages in the early stage of development is given priority to with land spread, mainly distributed in the edge of the city. In the high speed development stage, the city’s industry is more and more diversified with the development of urbanization, economic obvious "strong center, weak edge" phenom enon, the present distance attenuation level of the development trend of urban villages, road n etwork density is relatively high in the local with rapid economic development, but low density around the urban villages. In the mature stage gradually start the measures to transform urban village. These meet the general regulation of development of city, and the urban village has its uniqueness. Should be combined with urban industry development and the different levels of the housing needs of residents, establish the optimal management scheme for scientific and pragmatic, effectively guide the rational development of spatial of urban villages.
