As the enterprise group with the largest number in the market economy, small-and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs) plays an important role. Although SMEs is with a large number under rapid development, it is still faced with the problems of short enterprise life span and low growth rate. According to the research, one of the significant reasons for the problems of SMEs is the lack of enterprise execution. Therefore, it becomes quite urgent for SMEs to improve its execution.This thesis exacts the essence of the research about execution theory and presents analysis and summary of the concept and influence factor of execution. Firstly, the influence factor of SMEs execution is determined. Then the hierarchy of SMEs execution influence factor is established. In order to enable SMEs to improve execution with precise target, this thesis identifies the relative importance of each influence factor of execution by analytic hierarchy process(AHP). The research proves that the individual dimension is the most important one in three dimensions affecting the execution of SMEs, followed by the organization dimension and the team dimension. The survey shows that the lack of execution of SMEs is mainly due to two reasons, one is the low execution level of individual dimension with high degree of importance and the other one is the severe shortage of execution in organization dimension.In the end, this thesis proposes countermeasures to enhance the execution of SMEs in the following three aspects. From the perspective of individual dimension, it requires managers to act as a good example, perform effective authorization and implement innovation. In the team dimension, it requests the team members to seek out the correct positioning, achieve effective communication and cooperation, strengthen team supervision and encourage healthy competition. From the perspective of organization dimension, the enterprises should develop practical strategies with rapid implementation, establish effective performance evaluation mechanism and improve the incentive system, form an execution culture with the core of seeking for truth from facts.
