Research On The Historical Process And The Experience About The Construction Of West Regions After The Founding Of The New China

Economy and culture in modern China was extremely backward, and industrial layout was unreasonable, especially the serious imbalance between the development of eastern and western region, and they were greatly affect the economic development of our country. After the founding of new China, the communist party of China adhered to the ideological line of seeking truth from facts, based on China’s basic national conditions, and according to the main characteristics of the western region, enriching and developing strategic thinking about the construction of the west constantly, and promotes the economic development of the western region. Therefore, further study of the western history and experience is good for the economy of western region and the pace of China’s modernization construction and the construction of “One Belt and One Road” and the healthy development of economy and society and the Chinese dream of the Chinese nation, they are valuable and significant.According to the relevant literature about the communist party of China and related research achievements of academic circles, this thesis summarizes the important thought about the construction of the west and practical experience after the founding of new China, and analyzes the main characteristics of three times of the construction of western China deeply, and summarizes the experience and enlightenment about the construction of western China, and it’s good for the “One Belt and One Road” construction and building the Chinese dream. Firstly,this article discusses the construction of the west which centered on the first five-year plan. during this period the background was war and revolution, our country received the aid from Soviet Union and adhered to the principle of self-reliance at the same time, and developed the heavy industry firstly, and promoted the economic development of the western region. It is the first time in the history of our country to build a complete industrial system of the economic construction activities. Secondly, the article discusses the construction of the west which centered on the “third line construction”. And compared with the first western construction. This construction based on the balanced development of strategic and resource oriented development mode which had a target of national security, and strengthen the infrastructure construction in the western regions and built the western region of the industrial system in the end. Thirdly, this article discusses the construction of the west which centered on “western development”, and compared with the first two western construction. The construction carry out the strategic thought of “two big situation”, and under the condition of socialist market economy, have a goal of narrow the gap between regional development to promote regional economic growth and preserve the ecological environment, and promote the development of political, economic, cultural, social and ecological in western region, and provide practical experience to “One Belt and One Road” construction. Lastly, this article summarizes the experience of the three times construction of the west and gets inspiration. the construction of China’s west need emancipate the mind, seek truth from facts and keep pace with the time, and work out the measures from t the communist party of China, and adhere to the principle of self-reliance, follow the objective laws of economic construction and emphasis o human resources, and pay attention to the coordinated development of regional economy and realize the sustainable development of the western region.
