Study On The Coopetition Relationship Between Container Ports Based On The Lotka-volterra Model

With the economy of our country has entered the key period of transformation and upgrading,the coastal container port through put growth decreased,however,is fighting for the source port, often disorderly competition,and has not formed the regional competitiveness of good,unable to face the challenge of eighboring countries port.Therefore,to promote the development of the relationship between the in-depth study of port to port coordination,is a very realistic problem.In view of this, this paper based on the Lotka- Volterra model to study the relationship between container ports.This paper studies the model construction and model analysis. model construction : Lotka- Volterra port model currently does not consider the structure of port throughput, this paper introduces the port overlap between the market share of K, the Lotka- Volterra model is established to reflect the two port competition relation is more in line with the actual analysis, the model of equilibrium state and its stability, and in the view of game theory of port the coopetition strategy, found between the portcooperation needs external promotion, and specific solution size and the ratio of thrust.Case analysis: because it is difficult to determine the parameters of the Lotka- Volterra model, an empirical study on the stage there is little literature on port Lotka- Volterra model problem, this paper on the basis of the existing methods, combined with the actual situation of Dalian Port and Yingkou port, the parameters of Lotka- Volterra model reflecting the relations between the two ports of concurrence was estimated, and through the analysis of the positive and negative coincidence coefficient Dalian port and Yingkou port competition relationship, and simulated by Matlab software andverified the increase of concurrence of the coefficients of Lotka- Volterra model can significantly improve the container throughput.The main conclusions of this paper include:(1)among the ports is not extremely competitive, and not rely too large, only in maintaining proper competition to improve their competitiveness.(2)between the ports to maintain long-term and stable cooperation, can promote the growth of the market demand, when the optimalcompetition strategy theory of competing coefficient is close to 1/k.(3)among the ports is difficult to spontaneously close cooperation, need external promotion, when competingcoefficient between the port near-1/k,the minimum thrust is to promote cooperation in fierce competition conditions, it will promote the cooperation between the ports.(4) inclose cooperation between the ports by external force in the process of cooperation, the two sides are not unilaterally than the cooperation required greater thrust.(5)when the port adopt a cooperative strategy driven by external force,only the ratio of effect onthrust between ports maintained at two, competing to stabilize the port’s increasingcoefficient.
