Study On The Risk Management Of Project Financing In TY Branch Of China Merchants Bank(CMB)

Project financing, which through bank loans, is a way for enterprises to raise funds. It is an important means for enterprises to raise funds. It has been widely used in national and local infrastructure, public facilities construction, mining and other large and medium-sized construction projects at the same time, but it also exists many problems. For example, banks are paying more attention to the economic benefit of project investment while ignoring the risks that the enterprises cannot repay the principal due to loss; lacking the understanding of the project risk, the means and methods of project risk assessment is not scientific etc.. These problems bring huge risks to the banks’ management efficiency. It requires banks to take effective measures to control risk. Therefore, the research on the project financing business risk management to reduce the financial risk is of great significance to promote the healthy development of the national economy.In this paper, TY branch of China Merchants Bank(CMB)’s project financing is the research object. From the perspective of risk management of project financing business, using the relevant theories and methods of risk management of project financing, project financing risk management of TY branch. First of all, the paper focuses on the analysis of reasons for the existence of project financing risk management of TY branch’s issues and problems.Secondly, according to the existing problems, this study puts forward some countermeasures for the project financing risk management of TY branch. Among these, the problem, which is mainly manifested in the estimation of the risks, the low level of management and tolerance of small three aspects, the reason for these problems is that the legal system is not perfect, risk management awareness is not strong and lack of suitable basic theory of risk management in our country. The countermeasures, which mainly including the establishment of risk management system of TY branch’s project financing business, improved the risk management of TY branch project financing business and strengthen the project financing risk management theory research on three aspects of countermeasures.Study on this project is to improve the level of the project financing business, so as to reduce the project financing risk effectively, and enable virtuous cycle development in enterprises. This study also provides a reference for the same industry.
