China has a very rich water resources, but is also a serious water shortage country too, water resources per capita is very low. With the rapid economic development, population increase and promote the urbanization process, there happened a decrease in total water resources, water pollution has been increasing constantly rising and serious problems. In recent years, our country accelerated market-oriented reform of the water industry, has provided an unprecedented opportunity for water industry development, and bring an enormous challenge at the same time. With the increasingly fierce market competition, business environment is becoming more and more uncertain for small and medium water enterprises, only based on the changes in the market in a timely manner, adjustment of development strategy in the real-time, can the enterprises to seize the initiative in the market competition, reduce risk and achieve stable development.In this paper, the research object A water company, use the background research, industry analysis, business analysis, statistics and analysis methods to analyzed A water company, in order to develop a viable strategy for the implementation of strategic goals and specific comments on the development strategy of vertical integration.
