Under the background of economic globalization, competition between enterprises becoming more harsher than before. As marketing environment have been thoroughly changed, channel integrated upstream and downstream resources becoming to be core competitiveness of enterprises which cannot be easily reproduced. As the coming of knowledge economy, enterprises began to pay attention to find channel enablement solutions to further enhance channel skills and ability. Channel training management, with all expectation on, which could make enterprise to obtain the sustainable energy of development. Through knowledge sharing between technology and market information, and making full use of information communication between channels, it could improving channel’s capacity quickly, and to enhance the overall performance of the channel. The development of information technology has changed the channel training technology environment. The use of information technology to promote the efficient of knowledge dissemination and channel training activities, to reduce costs, to extend training scope and to diversify training forms, which make up for effectiveness and efficiency of traditional channel training management. Also according to the development of learning theory, simply output the skill sources which cannot meet the demand of the enterprise. For learners, as a new form of learning, the extension of the existing study methods to bring more opportunities to make growth, it based on person-oriented, which should be in conformity with the learners’ situation and more planning needed for learning processes. For manager, CU system could help managing training, and establishing of information database, realizing real-time query and decision making. CU dedicated to channel enablement, which design for the enterprise not only to find the reasonable cost for improving skills, but also focus on the growth of learners.In this paper, on the basis of existing research at domestic and abroad, using the method of literature analysis and empirical research method, by reading reference literature, as well as analysis and summarizes the related theory and method, and combining CU system in practice during the process of planning, design, implementation and feedback. Based on the theory of management information system, the thought of knowledge management and learning organization, to study the effectiveness of CU channel training management system for the purpose of this paper. It expounds the CU system architecture,the advantages and disadvantages, then analyzed current problems what CU system facing from perspective of the user’s, and finally put forward improvement strategy.CU channel training system is a product for channel management. It is the advanced methods and tools to the commercial application in the industry. To channel, it provides training portal solution, CIT based industry/channel skill enablement platform and learning service system. CU system fill the gap of channel training management, and provide solution for channel skills upgrading. The integration of technology knowledge and market information provides a powerful technical environment for channel applying. Through the experience of service operation, CU system could contribute on saving the cost of channels, strengthening the communication, integrating knowledge and consulting resources and managing channel relationship.
