Based on the rise and development of e-commerce, internet shopping is becoming popular, which also contributed directly to the growth of the express delivery industry, and making competition increasingly intense between express delivery companies. As everyone knows, the main goals for the express delivery services are fast and timely. The scientific and effectiveness of the express delivery service are the key to uphold the existence and development of express delivery industry, as well as a main tool to answer fierce market competition. Express delivery service serve as a medium to connect the express delivery enterprises and customers, and the service quality has an impact directly on customer experience throughout the online shopping process. However, due to the logistics industry in China started late and low starting point, such as shipment delays, poor service, express delivery loss and other issues often occur, which leads to frequent cases of consumer complaints. High transportation costs have become a heavy burden for the development of express delivery enterprises. In this case, to research the vehicle routing problem of express delivery enterprise, rational planning of routes of express delivery vehicles, to satisfy the requirements of customers on time window and adopt an integrated distribution, they have a great significance for enterprise to improve the service level, reduce the logistics cost and promote China’s logistics industry and even the socio-economic development.With that being said, this paper will conduct the research from the following aspects on vehicle routing problem of express delivery enterprises for end of logistics:First of all, overview the concept and characteristics of express delivery and final distribution; study the constituent elements, classification and basic model of vehicle routing issue; analysis and summarize the common algorithm of the vehicle routing issue;Second, timelines as an important index of logistics distribution service quality under the e-commerce environment, therefore this paper integrated the time-window in the model, and formulated the end of the distribution network with Pick-up and express delivery the VRP model, that is the mathematical model under the time window constraints multi-depot vehicle routing problem with pickup and express delivery.Third, this paper put forward the thought of "first clustering, and then solving", using the shortest distance strategy and clustering strategy for clustering the customer point respectively, thus the multi-distribution center is transformed into multiple single distribution center problem; Design of hybrid genetic Tabu Search algorithm based on genetic algorithm and Tabu Search algorithm, then to solve the end of the distribution network with pick-up and express delivery the VRP model.Finally, based on the end of the distribution network with pick-up and express delivery the VRP model and Hybrid genetic Tabu Search algorithm, design a prototype system for solving vehicle routing problem, reference to relevant scholar test example, to solve the vehicle routing problem of express delivery enterprises for end of logistics under e-commerce environment and analyze the results of different customer classification strategy, thereby verify the rationality, validity of the proposed model and solution ideas and algorithms.
