With the development of Internet and mobile application technology, the number of various tourism websites is increasing fast and the online tourism is developing rapidly. According to the report released by CNNIC, the number of Internet users who have booked airplane tickets, train tickets,hotels or travel itineraries online has reached to 190 million by the end of June 2014, accounting for 30.0% of Internet users.The Internet has become an indispensable part of travel throughout the stage of pre-trip,during-trip and post-trip.When tourists have the demand for travel,usually they will search for tourism information online and book tourism products.During the trip,they will search for the local information,such as weather,traffic,maps,attractions and specialties, or share their travel experiences online. During the post-trip stage,tourists can share travelogues, photos in travel communities, blogs and other social networking platforms,rebuilding and strengthening travel memories. Thus,the Internet has a close contact with tourism,which can affect tourist satisfaction.According to the relevant researches, currently the study in this field always focused on tourists’online information searching behaviors,such as the feature of tourists who used to search for tourism information online,their motivation,main content searched,and the effect on travel decisions.Less research combined tourists’ online behaviors with their travel satisfaction.This paper makes some attempts and the main conclusions are as follows:Firstly, most tourists use the tourism websites during the pre-trip stage and the professional tourism websites are most popular.Their main purpose is to search for tourism information, followed by booking tourism products online.Moreover,most tourists usually sign in tourism websites when they intend to have a trip and won’t spend too much time on that.Meanwhile,the tourism websites using behavior differs in demographic variables, tourists who are young,with high-level education and middle-level income tend to use tourism websites more often.In order to explore the relationship between tourism websites usage and tourist satisfaction,this paper analyzes the components of tourism websites using satisfaction and tourist satisfaction first.The results are:tourism websites using satisfaction is composed of 3 components, namely information satisfaction,experience and service satisfaction, system satisfaction; meanwhile, tourist satisfaction is composed of 2 components, namely tourism products and environment satisfaction, tourism consumption satisfaction. According to the outcome of correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis between tourism websites usage and tourist satisfaction, the using frequency and duration have no effect on tourist satisfaction,while the using satisfaction has a positive impact on tourism satisfaction.Finally,according to the results, some suggestions are provided from the view of tourists and tourism websites. Firstly, tourists should get more information online about the destination to form a reasonable expectation and make right decisions.During the trip, tourists can use the Internet to make the tours more convenient and unforgettable.Meanwhile, the tourism websites should provide more accurate information and better service for tourists to improve their travel satisfaction.
